Forrest Bush and
Jon Castleberry formed Lexington Plastic Molding Company in 1993. LPM,
a custom injection molding company, realized that a niche existed in the
market for an organization that combined technical expertise with the
personal services available from a smaller business.
LPM
started in a 10,000 square foot strip building with only two injection
molding machines. Because of hard work and dedication to our customer
needs, LPM grew and needed additional space to service our growing list
of satisfied customers. In 1996, we moved to a 44,000 square foot building
on 10 acres located in North Lexington. We now have 11 injection molding
machines, five compression molding machines and a machining and fabrication
department.
In
1999, LPM purchased the assets of a toilet seat manufacturing firm
that was located in western Missouri. The business was name Sperzel
Industries. Once the business was moved to Lexington, LPM changed
the name to Sperzel of Lexington, Inc. Sperzel of Lexington has a
full line of toilet seats to offer both residential and commercial
users. We manufacture our plastic injection molded seats out of a
Polypropylene material, while our compression line in manufactured
out of a Urea thermoset material. The Sperzel line of toilet seats
have been serving the public for over 50 years and we plan on continuing
to deliver a high quality product at a competitive price.
We are proud of the
reputation we have established in these two industries. Our total commitment
is focused on offering our customers superior products and services at
competitive rates. Bottom line
your need is our need!
